Blue Ridge Parkway

Mountain Falls happens to be a hop, skip and a jump from the Blue Ridge Parkway! Coined “America’s Favorite Drive”, the parkway runs for 469 miles through Virginia and North Carolina, making it the longest linear park in the nation.

While you’re not likely to go for a 469-mile Sunday drive, we’d argue that some of the most beautiful stretches of the parkway are right here in Western North Carolina. You’ll find panoramic viewpoints; plenty of trailheads; waterfalls; and incredible biodiversity and geological wonders along the way.
